Office of the Chief Inspector

 

 

Maureen Dwyer has been the head of the National Education Inspectorate (NEI) since September 2011.

She has more than 31 years’ experience of working at the tertiary and secondary levels of the education system.

With this background, including stints in education planning, school supervision and school inspection, Mrs. Dwyer has a thorough knowledge of the Jamaican Education System.

Her knowledge of the various modes of school supervision and school inspection has served to advance the mandate of the National Education Inspectorate. She is an advocate for the children of Jamaica and for improved school performance.
