United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Special Olympics Ambassador, Lucy Meyer, believes that youngsters with intellectual disabilities are capable of having normal lives if given the opportunity.
The 75 students and teachers at the Abilities Foundation are beaming after the institution received a major facelift yesterday (May 23), from over 60 volunteers attached to Monumental Partners and World Brands Services.
Young people are being encouraged to take advantage of the education and entrepreneurial grants available through the Ministry of Labour and Social Security to pursue higher education or establish small businesses.
