Extension Of High School Only Applicable To Students In Need Of Academic Support

The Ministry of Education has indicated that the extension of the period of secondary schooling, which was announced by Minister of Education, Youth and Information Senator Ruel Reid, will only be applicable to students who need further academic and skills training support after completing fifth form.

Government Launches APSE to Help Students

The Government has launched the Alternative Pathways to Secondary Education (APSE), which will provide students with additional and improved teaching programmes. Under APSE, instruction will be based on tailored curricula, enabling each learner to perform to his/her fullest potential, based on aptitude, interest and ability.
